Join us as we watch some of the best ranch horses in the industry compete for championship titles! Over the course of three days, the RHAA will proudly showcase these real-deal ranch horses and riders at the event of the season – the Western Heritage Classic. We hope to see you there!

ENTRY DEADLINE IS APRIL 29, 2024 (GRACE PERIOD ENDS MAY 3, 2024)

Entries will not be secure until received by the RHAA office. A 4-day grace period, with a $50 fee, will apply to ALL late entries received within the grace period. No entries will be accepted if they are not paid in full by the end of the grace period on May 3. You can mail or email your completed entries to the RHAA office. We will not process your entry without a form of payment.

 

Contestant Information

  • Draws will be posted by Monday, May 6. You can find draws and keep up with scores at horseshowtracker.com.
  • Contestants can check in beginning at noon (12 pm) on Wednesday, May 8.
  • Parking passes will be mailed to contestants prior to the event.
  • Coggins and a paid invoice (if there’s a balance) will be required at check-in to receive your back number and stall assignment.
  • Shavings can be purchased in the stall office in First Financial Pavilion and will be delivered to your stall(s).
  • If you’re traveling from out of state, please remember to bring health papers. All horses, however, will need a current Coggins.
  • No dogs allowed on facility grounds.

 

Reminder

Per RHAA rules, you must compete in at least two sanctioned events to be eligible to enter the National Finals. If you do not attend at least two shows (same horse/rider combination) before the National Finals, your entry will not be accepted.

 

Schedule of Events

Thursday, May 9

8 a.m. — Preliminary Round: Junior Youth, Senior Youth, Novice BDBD, BDBD. RHAA PATTERN 1

5 – 7 p.m. —  RHAA Social presented by Nutrena in First Financial Pavilion: Let’s get together and spend time doing what RHAA members do best; talking about horses, cattle, showing and family. Bring your appetite! Dinner will be provided. Thanks, Nutrena!

Friday, May 10

8 a.m. — Preliminary Round: Wrangler, Cowboy, Ranch Hand, Junior, Senior. RHAA PATTERN 1

Following the Senior Class — Finals — Top 5 from each class: Novice BDBD, BDBD, Junior Youth, Senior Youth. Pattern will be posted Thursday evening.

Saturday, May 11

10 a.m. — Finals — Top 5 from each class: Wrangler, Cowboy, Ranch Hand, Junior, Senior. Pattern will be posted Friday evening.

Awards ceremony immediately following the Senior class.
